I am 76 shortly. I fell 3 weeks ago and slammed my hip and elbow against a curb, facing down hill with no one around to see or help. I wondered if I was a goner. But I did get up. I bit of shock took over. I put my head down and waited. When I went to the doctor, my hip was bruised but NO break. My elbow had an inplace fracture where nothing dislocated or chipped. My PT was shocked that I had lost very little flexibility and had very little pain.
Why? I have been doing HIIT weight training and anarobics for 13 years. I do Pilates which strengthens and stretches me. I eat a Keto diet. I do breathing work and general pay attention. I started most of this at 62 and did very little before. It is never too late. Thanks for this piece
